Job Summary: We're looking for an IT System Administrator who can wear multiple hats, from managing day-to-day IT operations and employee support, to administering cloud infrastructure, SaaS tools, and security policies. Roles & Responsibilities: IT Operations & Support: • Manage end-user IT support (laptops, hardware, software, access issues) for a growing team • Set up and maintain onboarding/offboarding processes for employee devices and accounts • Maintain IT asset inventory (hardware, licenses, subscriptions)/ Platform teams on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment automation. Systems & Infrastructure: • Administer and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP — specify as applicable) • Manage internal servers, networks, VPNs, and firewalls • Ensure system uptime, backups, and disaster recovery processes are in place. SaaS & Application Administration: • Administer core business SaaS tools (Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, HRMS, CRM, etc.) • Manage user provisioning, access control, and license optimization across tools • Evaluate and implement new tools as the company scales Security & Compliance: • Implement and enforce IT security policies (endpoint security, password policies, MFA, data protection) • Support compliance efforts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc. as applicable to a SaaS company) • Monitor for security vulnerabilities and coordinate patching/update Process & Documentation: • Create and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles • Continuously improve IT processes to support a scaling, remote-friendly team • Collaborate with engineering/DevOps on shared infrastructure needs where relevant Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) • 7–9 years of experience in system administration, preferably at a startup or SaaS company • Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS/Linux environments • Experience administering cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 administration • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, firewalls) • Understanding of IT security best practices and compliance frameworks • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset • Excellent communication skills — able to support both technical and non-technical teammates • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including occasional weekends/nights, to support business hours across regions/on-call needs Location: Remote (Work from home).
