Terms & Conditions
The terms that govern your use of nxtleap — including AI-feature disclaimers, your content, acceptable use, and dispute resolution.
Version 1.0 · Last updated 10 June 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and nxtleap (“nxtleap”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a service operated by [Legal Entity Name Pvt. Ltd.], a company incorporated in India ([CIN], registered office at [Registered Office Address]). They govern your access to and use of our website, applications, browser extension, and related services (the “Services”).
By creating an account, or by accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
We may update these Terms as the product and the law evolve. When changes are material we will notify you by email and/or an in-app notice and update the version and “Last updated” date above. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any guidelines or additional terms we present for specific features, form the entire agreement between you and nxtleap regarding the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation, and “you” includes that organisation.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and current.
3. Description of the Services
nxtleap is a career-memory platform. Depending on availability, the Services may let you: capture achievements into an activity bank; generate and tailor resumes (including AI-assisted summaries, skills, and bullet rewrites) and run resume audits; discover and track job opportunities on an opportunity radar; capture opportunities via our browser extension; and prepare for interviews.
Some features are in early access or marked “coming soon”. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time, and we do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available.
4. Early access and beta features
The Services (or parts of them) are currently offered as an early-access or beta release, which may be invite-gated. Beta features are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, may contain errors, may change significantly, and may be withdrawn. We make no promises about availability, uptime, or that early-access data will be preserved. Your feedback during early access helps us improve.
5. Accounts and security
To use most features you must create an account using email and password, a magic link, or a third-party sign-in (Google or LinkedIn). You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@nxtleap.in if you suspect unauthorised use. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
6. AI features and disclaimers
The Services use AI to help you create and improve career content. Using AI features is optional, and by using them you consent to the processing described in our Privacy Policy.
No guarantee of outcomes. nxtleap makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that using the Services or any AI feature will result in an interview, a job offer, employment, or any other career outcome.
Accuracy is your responsibility. AI-generated content is provided “as is” and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of context. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content — and for ensuring that everything you present to employers is truthful and not misleading — before you use it. You must not use the Services to fabricate qualifications, experience, or credentials.
Third-party and your-own AI. AI features may rely on third-party AI/LLM providers. If you use the Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) or on-device AI options, you do so under your chosen provider's terms and at your own cost, and you are responsible for that provider's processing of your content.
7. Your content and licence to us
You retain all ownership of the content you submit to the Services, including your brain-dumps, achievements, resumes, and notes (“User Content”). You grant nxtleap a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify, process, and display your User Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Services to you (for example, to generate a tailored resume or run an audit). This licence ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, except for copies we must retain by law or that exist in routine backups.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit your User Content, that it is accurate and truthful, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purpose, or to submit false or misleading information;
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that violates another person's rights;
- Scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Services, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- Probe, circumvent, or interfere with security, authentication, rate limits, or the intended scope of the browser extension;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services, or use them to build or assist a competing product;
- Use bots or automated means to access the Services in a way that disrupts them or other users;
- Misuse another person's data, including capturing or storing opportunity or recruiter information in violation of applicable law or third-party terms.
9. Intellectual property
The Services — including the software, templates, designs, text, graphics, and the nxtleap name and logo — are owned by nxtleap or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial career purposes, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
10. Third-party services and trademarks
The Services integrate with or link to third-party services (such as Google and LinkedIn sign-in, AI providers, and job sources). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
nxtleap is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn, Google, or any other company. LinkedIn, Google, and other names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners.
11. Payments and subscriptions
The Services are currently free to use during early access; no payment is required. If we introduce paid plans, subscriptions, or credits in the future, the applicable prices, billing cycle, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be presented to you at the point of purchase and will form part of these Terms. We will give you notice of pricing changes as required by law, and continued use of a paid feature after a change means you accept the new price. Unless stated otherwise or required by law, fees are non-refundable.
12. Feedback
If you send us suggestions, ideas, or other feedback about the Services, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it for any purpose without any obligation or compensation to you.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any content or AI output is accurate or will achieve any particular result.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, nxtleap and its directors, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or career or employment opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to nxtleap in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 10,000. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless nxtleap and its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
16. Termination and account deletion
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We recommend you export any content you want to keep before deleting your account, as deletion is permanent. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services or other users. On termination, your right to use the Services ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
17. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the arbitration provision below, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, the arbitration shall be conducted in English by a sole arbitrator, and the arbitrator's award shall be final and binding. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking interim or injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will notify you via email and/or an in-app notice and update the version and “Last updated” date above. The revised Terms take effect on their effective date, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance.
