HEAD – INVESTOR RELATIONS & CORP DEV ## Company Overview *Not specified.* ## Job Summary The **Head – Investor Relations & Corporate Development** will play a pivotal role in engaging with investors, driving strategic initiatives, and supporting high-impact business growth. Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with founders and senior leadership, this role acts as a key interface between investors, leadership, finance, and other stakeholders. The position involves managing investor relationships, supporting fundraising efforts, executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and identifying strategic investment opportunities to accelerate the company's growth trajectory. ## Responsibilities - **Investor Relations** - Manage relationships and engagement with existing and prospective investors, shareholders, and financial stakeholders. - Lead the preparation of investor updates, board materials, investor presentations, Management Information Systems (MIS), and performance reports. - Develop and communicate the company's business narrative, growth drivers, financial performance, and key metrics. - Track investor feedback, industry trends, competitor performance, and valuation benchmarks. - Maintain investor databases, sector intelligence, and communication repositories. - **Corporate Development & Strategy** - Support CFO, founders, and leadership on strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and inorganic growth opportunities. - Identify and evaluate potential acquisition, investment, and strategic partnership opportunities. - Conduct market, sector, competitor, commercial, and financial analysis to inform strategic decisions. - Assist in due diligence, transaction evaluation, and preparation of investment/management presentations. - Build financial models, business cases, and valuation analyses including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), comparable companies, and precedent transactions. - **Fundraising & Strategic Projects** - Support fundraising and capital-raising initiatives, including investor decks, financial models, projections, data rooms, and transaction materials. - Collaborate with Finance, Legal, bankers, investors, and external advisors on strategic transactions. - Drive high-priority projects from analysis through execution within the Founder’s Office. - Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives. - Translate complex financial and business information into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership. ## Qualifications - **Educational Background:** MBA/PGDM from a reputed Tier-1 institute, preferably in Finance, Strategy, or a related discipline. - **Professional Experience:** 6–10 years in Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Private Equity/Venture Capital, or similar roles. - Experience working with founders, CXOs, investors, or Board-level stakeholders. - Strong exposure to financial modeling, valuation, fundraising, M&A, or strategic investments. - Experience in high-growth Technology, EdTech, or New-age organizations is an advantage. - **Technical Skills:** - Strong understanding of Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, and Strategy. - Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling expertise. - Proficiency in PowerPoint and executive presentation development. - Strong analytical, valuation, and business acumen. - **Soft Skills:** - Excellent communication, research, and project management skills. - Strategic thinking with a strong ownership and execution mindset. - Stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. - Problem-solving and structured thinking abilities. - High maturity, attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. ## Preferred Skills - Experience in a high-growth technology or EdTech organization. - Prior exposure to fundraising, investor relations, or strategic M&A transactions. - Familiarity with sector-specific intelligence and valuation benchmarks. ## Experience - 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in investor relations, corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or related fields. - Proven track record of working with senior leadership, investors, and board members. ## Environment - Location: Mumbai. - Work setting involves collaboration with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders. - Fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring high adaptability and confidentiality. ## Salary *Not specified.* ## Growth Opportunities *Not specified.* ## Benefits *Not specified.*
