- What does the ATS score actually measure?
- Exact keyword matching between the job description you paste and your resume text, computed in code rather than estimated by a model. If you don't paste a job description, that part is skipped rather than guessed.
- Will it invent numbers for my bullets?
- No. Where a rewrite needs a metric you haven't given, it leaves a visible placeholder like [X%] and asks you the question that fills it. Inventing a figure would just set you up to fail the interview.
